WHY SHOULD I BOOK A LATE CHECK OUT or BOOK AN ADDITIONAL NIGHT BEFORE DEPARTURE?
Many international flights depart the Cook Islands at a late hour. There are two ways in which guests can extend their stay at their accommodation on the date of departure:
1) Book a Late Check Out - this allows guests to stay in their rooms later than normal hotel check out times. The Central Motel's late check out time for all rooms is 6pm and is subject to availability, so please be sure to book in advance.
2) Book your room for an additional night. This adds a night to your stay but ensures you have use of your room right up until the time of your departure.
When considering your booking options, please remember that Rarotonga International Airport requires all travellers to check-in at least 2 hours prior to departure. It is recommended that travellers departing late at night ensure they book rooms for an additional night, OR arrange in advance for late check-out at their accommodation.
